Meet our Executive Director
Hello! My name is Jeromy Emerling, and I’ll be serving the families of Friendship House as the organization’s new Executive Director. We have bid a fond farewell to Julie Durrett, who served faithfully here for many years. Her charisma and compassion will be missed. As the new Director, I hope to follow her example in leading a very capable, caring team dedicated to your little ones.
My areas of expertise lie in strategy development and funding, but my passion is serving south Billings. As parents, you understand that your neighborhood plays a vital role in the raising of your children. Over the past eight years my wife and I have been intimately involved in the neighborhood and its families. We’ve dedicated our time, energy and resources to seeing the community grow in healthy ways.
I’m a father of two little boys myself. Elijah (3) and Matthew (1) are the two biggest reasons that I’m committed to seeing the Friendship House succeed. I have come to understand the importance of quality education, good role models, and a safe environment for my boys. I know you share these priorities.
Look for some exciting changes in the coming months as our team strives to serve your children to the best of our ability. I am convinced that the next season here at the Friendship House is going to be extraordinary, and we’re excited that you and your children are a part of it!
Please don’t hesitate to call me with any questions or concerns, or just to introduce yourself: 259-5569. I look forward to meeting you in person soon!
In Service,
Jeromy Emerling
